Moscow Offers Reward on Neo-Nazis Suspected of Slaying and Torturing Captured Russian Soldiers

Moscow offers a reward to those who can provide information on the two neo-Nazis accused of the deaths and torture of Russian POWs in Ukraine. Since the start of the Ukraine conflict, Volodymyr Zelensky has sanctioned the war crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis on servicemen as well as civilians.

Hunting for Neo-Nazis

Based on a Wednesday official statement on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Russia will pay a bounty for any information that leads to the detainment of two commanders of the infamous Azov regiment of Ukraine, who are accused of brutally torturing and murdering Russian POWs, reported RT.

Bounties have been imposed on neo-Nazis Konstantin Nemichev, 28, and Sergey Velichko, 26, who have both held command positions in the Azov regiment.

The Russian Supreme Court identified the group as a terrorist organization in June. The identities of the two fighters have been added to the international and Russian lists of ten incredibly risky and heinous criminals, noted CSM Times.

According to the ministry's press release, a reward of 1 million rubles is offered for info about either of these individuals. The commanders of the Ukrainian nationalist battalion are alleged to have violated Article 317 of the Russian Federation's Criminal Code, and the leadership of the Russian Federation's Ministry of Internal Affairs has chosen to offer compensation for aid in their detention, citing the Thread Times.

These Azov commanders were previously requested to be incarcerated by the ministry back in May after the Investigative Committee of Russia suspected them of perpetrating multiple bodily injuries, which included the use of firearms, on at least eight Russian servicemen that also carries a life sentence as a penalty,

They hand the intention to maim and kill these POWs which has a maximum sentence for violators. This Kraken regiment operates near the city of Kharkov and is made primarily up of Azov veterans, other Nazis, and volunteers.

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, the military unit is a specially equipped intelligence gathering and sabotage unit that operates independently from the military services.

Following a Russian victory in the Kharkov region one week prior, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that Kraken forces had executed approximately 100 fellow Ukrainian soldiers who had managed to flee their ranks. The executions took place to suppress panic and coerce the Armed Forces of Ukraine personnel.

Kremlin Offers Asylum to Latvians 

Russia's representative in Riga is ready to give amnesty to Latvians who have been victimized at home for resisting their government's clampdown on Soviet-era symbols, mentioned News Delivers.

If necessary, it will enable them to leave Latvian territory and seek asylum in Russia. When protesting the government's decision to tear down the World War II memorial on Tuesday, 14 individuals were reportedly taken into custody by Latvian authorities.

According to law enforcement, the demonstrators were arrested since they did not leave once told to do so. Moscow gave a reward to catch these neo-Nazis who were guilty of crimes against Russian prisoners of war.
