The collapse of a Russian tank by Ukrainian forces using a US-supplied kamikaze drone has been recorded on video and is now circulating on social media.

The Ukrainian military has released footage of special forces using foreign-made kamikaze drones targeting Russian positions.

According to the Ukrainian military, the drone was armed with a strong bomb that caused damage to a Russian tank after colliding with it.

Ukrainian Military Makes Effective Use of US-Provided Drones

In April, the United States sent 100 Switchblade drones to Ukraine's military. The portable small kamikaze drones contain warheads that explode on impact. According to the business that makes the drones, the smallest model can hit a target up to six miles distant, according to CNN.

The video, recorded from above and backed by the classic theme music from the Star Wars movie, shows Ukrainian special operations forces (SSO) utilizing the drone to target, lock on to, and then fire at the tank. A tremendous explosion occurs, followed by a column of white smoke. The drone was later recognized as a Switchblade 300 provided by the US by the Twitter account Ukraine Weapons Tracker.

The short footage, which was shot by a camera on the drone and shared on several official Ukrainian social media accounts, ended similarly to a TV show. Following the explosion, the credits roll while the tune made famous by the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm is played.

The video of the Russian tank being destroyed comes as Russia has suffered significant defeats in its military attack on Ukraine, notably the inability to conquer Kyiv, the country's capital. During the three-month assault, Russian soldiers allegedly suffered a large number of casualties. According to a British government intelligence analysis, the death toll is likely comparable to that of the Soviet Union throughout its nine-year war in Afghanistan.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine, according to Ukraine's military intelligence head, is a strategic loss for Russia. As per  Major General Kyrylo Budanov, Russian President Vladimir Putin is at an utter dead end. According to Google Translate, the commentary accompanying the Russian tank video shows how SSO operators in Ukraine have acquired abilities in holding another sort of contemporary weapon.

In accordance with the video's title, this is another destruction of an enemy tank as well as the enemy's personnel, and it demonstrates what is achievable owing to the assistance of our international friends, as well as the training and professionalism of our warriors.

Details on when the Ukrainian soldiers destroyed the Russian tank remain unknown. The caption states that this is the first time the footage has been made public but does not specify when the strike occurred, Newsweek reported. It comes as the Ukrainian military continues to wreak havoc with drones, including a raid on a Russian base, as Vladimir Putin's catastrophic battle has driven his forces back to the border. In another show of force, a stunning film showed Russian tanks being demolished after being discovered lurking in rear gardens.

Another spectacular video shows a Russian tank being incinerated when three Ukrainian grenades ignited the munitions on board, resulting in a massive explosion. It comes as the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces (AFU) provided the most recent information on enemy losses.

As  reported by AFU General Staff, Russia lost around 29,350 servicemen between February 24, when Putin sent his forces into Ukraine, and May 24. Over the same period, Russia lost 1,302 tanks, 3,194 armored fighting vehicles, 606 artillery systems, 201 multiple launch rocket systems, 93 anti-aircraft systems, 205 aircraft, 170 helicopters, 2,213 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, 13 vessels, 480 unmanned aerial vehicles, 43 units of special equipment, and 112 cruise missiles.

Meanwhile, according to the UK Ministry of Defense, Russian soldiers are seeking to envelop the eastern cities of Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, and Rubizhne, as per The Sun.
