Green Lantern is one "Justice League" member who has been conspicuously absent but hopes of his arrival are very much alive. Henry Cavill, who would be essaying Superman in the upcoming movie, has mentioned Green Lantern in his latest Instagram post. Also, rumors about Armie Hammer essaying the character are flying thick and fast.

Henry Cavill has once again sparked off the speculations about the arrival of Green Lantern in "Justice League," CBR claimed. The 33-year-old-actor recently posted a picture of himself on Instagram. It shows him working out and telling his fans about his recovery from a knee injury sustained in 2016. He has captioned the photo, explaining how hard he is working and how much it feels good to be back.

What catches attention is the last sentence wherein Henry Cavill says that he has nothing funny to post but he is dead serious because he has got to make sure that he is bigger than Green Lantern. Not only this, it is not the first time that he has talked about Green Lantern. He has mentioned Green Lantern two more times in recent past.

In related news, it is rumored that Armie Hammer could be playing Green Lantern in "Justice League." According to Movie Pilot, Hammer has been already cast as Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern. Though the actor has denied the rumors, he did not sound very convincing as he refuted the speculations. He seemed to dodge the question at the recent SXSW. Also, Warner Bros. is yet to comment on the rumors.

Notably, of the seven "Justice League" members, only six have been announced till date. Warner Bros. has declared the names of Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Cyborg. However, Green Lantern has been neither confirmed nor denied and thus, the suspense over his arrival is intact. Henry Cavill's post has only heightened the speculations but till an official announcement is made, fans would have to wait and watch.

"Justice League" arrives in theatres on Nov. 17, 2017.
