NFL player Dak Prescott is the fourth round 135th overall pick of the Dallas Cowboys this year. Cowboys drafted Prescott with a mindset of developing a young quarterback behind Tony Romo.

But Romo got injured in a preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. Because of this, Prescott immediately became the Cowboys' starting quarterback.  And that opportunity became Prescott's gateway to showcased to the world what he can do.

He is one of the main reasons why the Dallas Cowboys is on a roll right now. After losing to the New York Giants on opening night, the Cowboys went on to win eight consecutive games.

According to USA Today, Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones said that Romo will available on Cowboys' Wee 11 match against the Baltimore Ravens. But Romo will be the back-up quarterback for rookie sensation Dak Prescott.

Tony Romo played with the Dallas Cowboys throughout his career. Now on his 13th NFL season, he was a four-time participant in the Pro Bowl and was selected to the Second-team All-Pro in 2014. At the age of 36, he still plays at a very high level. He is too good to be just a back-up quarterback.

Because of this, speculations arise that Tony Romo might play for another team next season. According to iSports Times, if the Cowboys decide to move Romo, the New York Jets could be his next destination.

The Jets have a 3-7 win-loss record now. They are at last place in the AFC East division behind the Patriots, Dolphins and Bills. It's almost certain that the Jets might not make the NFL playoffs this season. And one of the main reasons for that is their starting quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick, is having a disappointing season.

That's why the Jets might be a good fit for Romo as the Jets is really looking for a high quality quarterback. And Romo is a proven quarterback that can keep playoff possibilities alive.

If the Cowboys will trade Romo, the Cowboys might ask for a conditional draft pick or perhaps just release Romo.
