The Dallas Cowboys are now the best team in the NFL after Week 10. With a record of 8-1, they are first in NFC East division having a two-game lead over the New York Giants. And in terms of win-loss record, they are the best team in the league as the New England Patriots lost last Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

They already won 8 straight games, which tied for the longest winning streak in Cowboys' franchise history. And a big part of Cowboys success is rookie quarterback Dak Prescott, who started all of the team's 9 games this season.

Prescott is supposed to be the back-up QB for the Cowboys. But when the Cowboys' veteran quarterback Tony Romo got injured in a preseason games against the Seahawks, Prescott was immediately promoted as the starting quarterback. And he didn't waste that opportunity and showcased his talents on the football field.

And because of the Cowboys' continuous success, Dak Prescott will retain his starting role in Week 11. According to USA Today, Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones confirmed that Tony Romo will finally be active in the Cowboys' Week 11 game against the Baltimore Ravens. But he will play as a back-up for Prescott.

Tony Romo's demotion as a back-up quarterback sparked rumors that Romo might be traded elsewhere. Los Angeles Rams is one of Tony Romo's next destinations.

The Rams just returned to Los Angeles this 2016 NFL season. And they are still searching for a franchise player.

They got Jared Goff in the NFL Draft as the first overall pick during the offseason. But they are just preparing the rookie for a bigger role. As a precaution, Rams head coach Jeff Fisher will not put Goff in the starting line-up until the Rams are clearly no chance of making the playoffs this season.

If Fisher will take that option, they have no other choice but to be patient with Goff. And for Goff to maximize his potential, the Rams might consider trading for a veteran quarterback who could mentor Goff. And in that case, Tony Romo fits in with that role.

But the question here is if the Rams have enough resources to lure Romo out of the Cowboys to play with them. According to ESPN, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones might bargain Romo for a draft pick or two. And the other option is just to release the veteran quarterback.

Is the Los Angeles Rams the next destination for Tony Romo?
