The DJI Mavic Pro is the best drone that DJI has made so far.

DJI's new foldable drone, which aims to go head-to-head with the GoPro Karma, is so compact it can be the size of a water bottle when folded.

Though very compact, DJI Mavic Pro can still be comparable to high performance drones like DJI Phantom 4, if not exceeding.

It is almost unforgiving to compare it to the new GoPro Karma. Simple because it exceeds GoPro's first drone in almost all features and specifications.

DJI Mavic Pro weighs 1.62 lbs with dimensions 83 x 83 x 198 mm when folded. Like what is mentioned earlier, it is so portable you can reduce it to the same size as a water bottle.

The controller is also very small with a monochrome screen for flight data. But if you want to see through your drone's eyes, you can connect your phone and attach it to the controller.

The Mavic Pro can also fly up to 40 mph in Sport Mode for 27 minutes. With the new OcuSync encrypted transmission system, you can control the drone up to a distance of 4.3 miles away from its controller.

You can also Live Stream to Facebook Live, Periscope and YouTube at 1080p through the DJI Go App.

DJI Mavic Pro also has all the advance and user-friendly features of the top of the line, DJI Phantom 4.

The foldable drone's intelligent flying modes for safety and ease in using include obstacle avoidance feature, gesture control feature and follow me feature (object tracking system).

As for the camera feature, DJI Mavic Pro has 12 MP CMOS sensor with 4K-capable video, which can take both raw and JPEG images. Mavic Pro also has 3 axis stabilization and wider movement range with built-in camera.

Also, Mavic Pro can be operated even by inexperienced people, making it more appealing not only to drone enthusiasts but to newbies as well.

Best news is that the very advanced and user friendly DJI Mavic Pro only costs $999 (Drone + Remote Controller). Pre-order starts on October 5 while shipping starts on October 15.
