Academy award winning actress Reese Witherspoon and her husband were arrested for a DUI incident on Friday night, but if that isn't shocking enough, fans are surprised to learn what the sweet Southern belle actress said to the police officers.

Witherspoon's husband James Toth failed to pass a sobriety test, resulting in him being arrested for DUI. Reese Witherspoon was arrested for disorderly conduct after allegedly resisting the orders of a police officer in Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday night.

According to a police report obtained by Variety, Reese was handcuffed and briefly jailed for refusing to obey orders given to her by an officer of the law.

Reese allegedly started acting up, telling cops, "Do you know my name?"

The officer answered by saying, "No, I don't need to know your name."

According to the report, a source said there was no screaming or any sort of physical altercation between Witherspoon and the officer. "She was being protective of her husband and was fearful of the situation."

Witherspoon then came back with, "You're about to find out who I am ... You are going to be on national news."

Reese, 37, and Toth, 42, were released on bail at 3:30 in the morning on Friday.

Before their release, the couple both posed for mugshots. A court date has been scheduled for Monday at 8 a.m. in Atlanta Municipal Court.
