Ever since Marvel and Sony agreed to share the rights to the character of Spider-Man, fans have been dying to see a glimpse of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's take on the character. When it was announced that Tom Holland would make his MCU debut as the web-head in "Captain America: Civil War" fans lost their collective minds. But despite a considerable marketing effort, Spidey had been kept tightly under wraps by Marvel over the last few months.

Until now.

Today Marvel released the final trailer for "Captain America: Civil War" and with it, the true introduction to our new wall-crawler. Check him out in all his webbed glory in the video below.

A round of applause for the newest addition to the MCU, please.

He may only have a few seconds of screen time, but that's better than nothing. As you can see in the trailer, Spider-Man steals Captain America's shield, webs his hands together, and gets a great glory shot with the shield. This confirms previous rumors that Holland's Spider-Man will at least start off on Team Iron Man.

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo, the team behind "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," will pit Tony Stark and Steve Rogers against one another in an aggressive ideological debate. Following the events of "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the governments of the world have passed the Sokovia Accords, legislation that will regulate and oversee all superhero activity. Stark is in favor of the act while Cap believes it can lead down a dangerous path.

But that's not the only important issue on Cap's plate. He's also dealing with the fallout of his friend Bucky Barnes' brainwashing at the hands of HYDRA. Forced to serve as an assassin over the last 50 years, Bucky has finally broken free of his HYDRA control. But that doesn't mean Stark or any others are going to forgive him for his past transgressions.

"Captain America: Civil War" will hit theaters on May 6.
