Madonna's Homeless Older Brother Says She Doesn't Care

Anthony Ciccone, Madonna's elder brother slams the singer saying she doesn't care if he is alive or dead.

Ciccone is popstar Madonna's homeless elder brother. He recently spoke to the Daily Mail expressing his disillusionment with his younger sister and family. According to Ciccone, his family doesn't care about him and his relationship with his sister has always been strained. He's been homeless for a year now, but no one from his family seems to care, not even his sister.

"Madonna doesn't give a s**t if I'm dead or alive. She lives in her own world. I never loved her in the first place, she never loved me. We never loved each other," Ciccone said. "No family back up, when the chips fell, no family back-up. I'd rather be working. What would you do under these circumstance when your family has stood against you completely?"

The Daily Mail reported that Ciccone used to work in the family vineyard but was asked to leave because of his drinking habits. Ciccone said his father would be very happy if he died of hypothermia as then he wouldn't have to worry about him or his drinking habits anymore. According to Ciccone, his father is "old school" and grew up in the Depression. Since he's lived a tough life, he doesn't want to be bothered by any other troubles and that's why he doesn't like Ciccone, says Madonna's brother.

A close friend of the family and neighbor Kathy Meteyer, however, defended the family, saying that Anthony's father Tony Ciccone and other family members did care about him.

"He just can't come back until he stops drinking, because they think it will kill him, it already kind of has," Meteyer said. "Tony has put him through rehab and given him lots of chances. I think Madonna paid for rehab a few times. The alcohol has taken over his brain," she added.
