With less than two weeks for the most anticipated release, the first Xbox One briefly appeared on the eBay auction site after the console was shipped to priceless228, who claims Target mistakenly shipped the console.

Leaks and rumors ahead of much awaited launches are a well-known tradition, but the actual shipment of a device ahead of its release is something new. This is the case with the highly-anticipated Xbox One, due to be out November 22, 2013. The first Xbox One appeared on an eBay auction site after a member named priceless228 claimed he had received the console via Target due to an error. The auction price was set at $999.95 for the opening bid and a steal away price was set at $9995.

But if you are rushing to eBay with your credit card in hand, we may suggest you wait, as the device is no longer listed on the site. "This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing," is the message reads on the Xbox listing page.

The seller also put up a number of images of the console with one showing the Xbox One and accessories neatly packed inside a box. The pictures indicate that it is legitimate. Moreover, the member, a special education teacher, has a good history on eBay. According to priceless228, the profit made from the sale would go towards creating products for special education students, Engadget reports.

It is unclear if priceless228 has decided to keep the Xbox One or there is some other reason for pulling it off. But if you think you missed a chance, don't be too upset as Target has done it again, Yes again.

Another console appeared on YouTube, after a member, MoonlightSwami, shared the "Xbox One Unboxing!!!!!!!..." video. You may be a little late to get a glimpse of the console in the video as Microsoft has claimed copyrights and blocked the video from YouTube. But the user, through his Twitter account, is keeping all anticipated gamers entertained with his on-going experience with Xbox One.
