Halloween 2013 Video Game Events: See The Top 4 Holiday-Themed Game Updates

Halloween is here and it seems like everyone has a case of the spooky fever. This includes many game developers who are prepping their Halloween-themed events for public consumption. Here are some of the best "spooktacular" video game events, courtesy of IGN.

Borderlands 2 Headhunter Pack: Gearbox is celebrating the Halloween season with some brand new enemies to shoot. The first of three holiday Headhunter DLC packs is available. The first one is called TK Baha's Bloody Harvest. TK, a character who died in the first Borderlands, has now been brought back as a Zombie and, surprise surprise, he has some new errands for you to run, including finding the Pumpkin Kingpin and blowing him to smithereens.

Team Fortress 2 Brings the Frights: Valve has come out with Halloween items for Team Fortress 2, bringing things in like season-themed hats to the free-to-play shooter. This year the developer is doing something a little different. Players and modders can submit their own ideas for items via the Steam Workshop. These ideas could possibly be put into the game. You'll be able to put them on Scout's heads and frighten other players before fragging them into kingdom come.

League Of Legends Skins: There have been various points over the history of the game where Champion skins were offered for a limited amount of time. Those skins are usually only available during Halloween season and are themed accordingly. This year, during The Harrowing, they're bringing every single one back for the public to purchase. Now's your chance to grab the one you missed out on last year and take on minions and other champions alike.

Bad Piggies and Angry Birds Go Undead: The Angry Birds spinoff game is getting itself 30 brand new Halloween-inspired levels in the new chapter From Dusk Til Dawn. Meanwhile, Angry Birds Friends have a tournament going on, hosted by said piggies. Oh, and the pigs are now undead... Because Halloween.
