Is Lamar Odom finally ready to talk about his alleged drug problems? According to Hollywood Life, the NBA star is strongly considering doing a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey to talk about his alleged drug use, marriage troubles to Khloe Kardashian and his future in basketball.

Sources told the website that the 33-year-old is ready to go public in a tell-all interview but will only talk about his problems to Oprah.

"This was all her people's idea and not Lamar's." the source said. "He's shy and doesn't really want to be talking about his problems with everybody. But no matter the circumstance, you can't turn Oprah down, not even Lamar. And his family, his blood, thinks it's a good idea for him."

Odom has reportedly been wary about doing interviews with anyone except the talk show Queen. It makes sense why Odom would be so comfortable talking about his problems to Oprah since the two do have a history. Back in 2012, Oprah did a Kardashian special where she talked to everybody in the family including the former Clippers player.

At the time, Odom and Kardashian gushed about their marriage and how they kept their relationship strong during the basketball season. According to TMZ, no deals have been made but the athlete is said to be toying with the idea.

"Lamar needs to do this," the source said. "He'd probably open up and tell Oprah all his skeletons - even sh*t that his family and wife don't know."

There's no word on if the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star would join her husband for the interview. Kardashian and Odom have been living separately for the past couple months after she kicked him out of their Tarzana mansion. She told him that he either needed to get himself together or the marriage was over.

According to several reports, she has divorce papers signed and ready to go but doesn't want to file just yet because she still believes Odom might kick his alleged drug addiction.
