Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the South Korean company’s new flagship device, is now available to U.S consumers with T-Mobile taking the lead. However, it will not have 4K Ultra HD video which is quite a disappointment for some users.
Next to sell the device is Verizon Wireless which will be offering it for $299.99 with a two-year contract. The Verizon Edge plan is likewise available which shall charge users the amount of $29.31.
Unfortunately, the phablet’s standard specifications indicating a 4K Ultra HD video feature is non-existing for the U.S models. This full HD display feature is the most anticipated among all specs in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Samsung has designed the Galaxy Note 3 with a full HD resolution of 1080p to deliver superb color and clarity and to keep at par with recently released smartphones. According to the IB Times, the 4K Ultra HD video recording will be available in selected countries such as India, Australia, Greece, and others.
With the 4K Ultra HD video standard feature, a device can have a display resolution with horizontal pixels of around 4,000. This is a huge increase from the 1080p video that consumers are already familiar with their full HD mobile devices.
Other features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 include an enlarged 5.7-inch AMOLED display, a faux leather back panel to provide better hand grip, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 Quad-core chip for a smoother and highly responsive UI, and a scrapbook feature for easy data storing, finding, and retrieving.
Know Your Mobile also added that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is rolling out a huge variety of back panels that are interchangeable and come in an array of colors and accessories. Users can choose from a minimum of 10 color choices and they can even opt for a cover that detects a window for easy viewing.
