"Glee" honored the memory of Cory Monteith and his character, Finn Hudson on the Oct. 10 episode. Titled "The Quarterback," the episode kicked off with a sorrowful rendition of "Seasons of Love" from the Broadway Show "Rent."

It began three weeks after Finn's funeral. How he died was not revealed. Creator Ryan Murphy has said that the episode would focus on Finn's life and not how he died. The episode was a beautiful tribute to him; the characters had nothing but touching things to say as the reflected on Finn's life.

Even though it was three since the funeral Mr. Schue had invited everyone back to memorialize finn in song.

"[The glee club has] to memorialize him the only way we know how - by singing," he said.

Mercedes started off by singing "I'll stand By You" the same song Finn sang to Quinn's sonogram. The show did a good job on focusing on how everybody handles grief differently. Sue Sylvester's character didn't become all mushy and sad but stayed true to form by insulting everyone and trying to derail's everyone's grief.

Later on in the episode she admitted that she felt bad for never telling Finn that she really liked him and thought he was a good person. Puck took the news extremely hard and was quite angry throughout the entire episode. It wasn't until the end when he finally broke down and cried for the first time.

He also admitted that he was so inspired by Finn that he was going to join the military. Kurt helped Burt and Finn's mom pack up his room, which was also very emotional. The three reminisced about the good and bad times.

Rachel didn't show up until the end and sung a flawless rendition of "Make you Feel My Love." It was hard not to shed a tear as she broke down at the end of the song. The episode ended with viewers learning that it was Mr. Schue who had stolen Finn's letterman jacket. Many of the students were looking for the jacket and blamed Puck for its disappearance.

It ended with Mr. Schue clutching Finn's jacket as he breaks down in Emma's arms. The "Farewell to Finn" tribute was touching, sad but was a great homge to Finn and Monteith.
