"Grand Theft Auto 5" Gets Spoofed On SNL By 'Outraged Mother' Who Can't Seem to Stop Playing (VIDEO)

Ever since the original "Grand Theft Auto" hit store shelves and gave people the chance to play the villain rather than the hero for once, parents and concerned adults have complained that the game is too misogynistic and too violent.

Most people have a very specific image in their mind regarding the type of person who would complain about the game. In this week's episode of Saturday Night Live, the cast member Kate McKinnon took aim and put a new spin on the "outraged parent" complaining about Grand Theft Auto.

McKinnon played Pat Lynhart, a parent form Connecticut on Weekend Update. She was supposed to be there to share her thoughts on the new game and, just when everyone was expecting her to go off on the game for putting such negative and terrible ideas in the minds of children, she instead took a different point of view.

"I have played it, I've been playing it all week...and I love it!" she said enthusiastically. "Do you know how amazing this f'n game is? Last week I was reading "The Paris Wife" with my book club. This week I had sex with over 3,00 prostitutes, I am invincible!"

The sketch took a new spin on the age-old criticism against the game. Rather than look at the game play as a road map to a terrible life of crime, the mother finds solace in her ability to escape and be the no-nonsense villain in the game world that she doesn't get to be in the real world.

When asked if she was worried about the violence in the game, the character responded by saying "No, no. It set me free! I am no longer Pat Lynhart mother of three. I am Lester Crest and I eat cocaine for breakfast!"

When asked what this would mean for her children who saw her playing this violent videogame, notable not asking if she lets her children play the game, the character responded by comically suggesting her kids should understand and be afraid of this game for adults.

"I think [my kids] think 'we'd better step the "F" back because Mama is a Latino warlord now!"
