For those people who are constantly getting cold feet, there is a new technology, which is controlled by a smartphone app, that will warm your digits. Dubbed as the "Warm Series," the wearable device promises to heat the user's feet and even act as a pedometer to measure the distance that the wearer has walked, along with the estimated calorie burned.

The Warm Series is claimed to be the world's first connected, heated insoles. It is equipped with a Bluetooth 4.0 technology that pairs it with an iPhone or an Android device. If the user has cold feet, he or she could merely fire it up with one click in the dedicated app.

"For the first time, with one pair of Digitsole insoles, you will be able to connect your shoes to your smartphone and interact with it in order to never get cold again," Karim Oumnia, CEO of the France-based startup Digitsole, told the Daily Mail.

The wearable technology is outfitted with a thermostat that provides the heating system. The insoles trigger heat when they register temperature that is below the identified temperature setting. It can also be activated and controlled from up to 16 feet, according to Tech Times. See how it works in the video below.

Digitsole sees both professional athletes and ordinary consumers as its target market. The company has designed the wearable device as a convenient replacement of original shoe insoles, according to its website. It is now available for sale and costs $99.
