If you’re like me and wondering when Alicia’s old firm and her new firm are going to face off, then I’ve got some good news. It seems we won’t have to wait too long.

According to TVLine.com, the battle will take place during the 100th episode which will air later this fall. Oh, and it’s not just Lockhart & Gardner vs. Florrick & Agos. It’s Will vs. Alicia. And it’s going to be really, really bad. (Which means the really, really good for us.)

The show’s co creator Robert King told the website that Alicia and Will pull out all the stops to beat each other—even the personal ones.

“There’s going to be a whole act where they use what they know about each other from their love affair in a courtroom battle,” said King. “They’re going to basically undercut each other every step of the way.”

There’s also some good news for all you Will/Alicia shippers out there who will be hurting from this terrible battle. King said there will be “some wonderful flashbacks” to the days of Alicia’s affair with Will that will provide insight into the different attacks.

Something tells me this battle will change the course of the season. While this may end up being good for Peter and Alicia’s marriage, the relationship between Will and Alicia will most likely be completely shattered. Is it possible that this will aid in Will's possible departure?

“The Good Wife” airs Sundays at 9/8c on CBS.
