Miley Cyrus SNL Promos: 'Wrecking Ball' Singer Pokes Fun At Tongue-Wagging Image (VIDEO)

The highly talked about and highly controversial Miley Cyrus will be hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend as both the host and musical guest. In order to prepare for the show, she and SNL cast member Taran Killam recorded some very charming and very self-deprecating promos for the show.

Although the performer has been under fire lately for her over-the-top performance at this year's VMAs and for her confusingly sultry music video for her latest single "Wrecking Ball." However, despite the controversy, Cyrus seems ok with being the butt of the joke and laughing at herself and her own public image.

The four promos, which can be seen below all focus her criticism in some way. Perhaps one of the favorites among viewers is when Killam asks her point blank why she always sticks her tongue out.

"It's how I smell" the "We Can't Stop" singer explained without missing a beat, almost as if it was a question she'd answered dozens of times before. She then stuck her tongue out at him and asked if he was wearing women's deodorant. - He was.

Another highlight come after she introduces herself as this week's host and Killam explodes about her performance at the VMAs.

"That VMAs performance, how could you?! I mean, it was too much - the children!" he said.

"And what was I wearing?!" Cyrus replied matching his outrage. "Don't forget about the children!"

This will be Miley Cyrus' second time hosting "SNL but her first time pulling double duty as the host and musical guest of the show, according to MTV News. The hosting gig comes just days before the release of "Bangerz."
