HTC One Also Reportedly Working on a Gold Smartphone

A new leak online displays the image of what seems to be a gold smartphone being worked on by HTC One. This was reportedly seen by electronics magazine Engadget from a chinese social media site Weibo. The photo was from the same subscriber who had also posted the previously launched blue colored model of the HTC One.

The new and attractive metallic blue colored handset is already out in the market. However this latest leak on the smartphone's new color seems to be the next make over for the HTC One.

The gold colored images show several handwritten marks which were similarly found in the previous blue colored handset photos that were previously leaked. Apparently, these marks on the panels of the units assist in assembling the front panel and the other parts together.

The photos came out just three days after Apple officially revealed its latest iPhone 5s which also comes in gold. However, the HTC One gold model seems to be already in the works even before this. There was a date marked on the back of the handset’s image indicating that the unit was assembled approximately one month before. The date at the rear of the handset read August 12.

There is also increasing proof pointing to HTC's plans on an all new smartphone called HTC One Max. Evleaks, a well-known source for phone leaks, posted an image in a tweet last Friday. It displayed what looked like a device logo for this new handset model. Rumors abound that it will soon be released fourth quarter of this year.

To date, no official report or any confirmation were received as to these speculations of HTC releasing a brand new model One Max or even a gold colored model of HTC One.
