Google has decided to mark down the price of its LG Nexus 4 by $100 a week ago. This strategy must be one of the most effective ways to convince consumers to purchase the device as it has left the LG Nexus 4 out of stock.
The 8GB Nexus sold for $299 while the 16 GB model was sold at $349. After the price drop, $100 was deducted from both models.
But what is LG Nexus 4? How does it look like? LG Nexus 4 is an Android smartphone with a 4.7-inch screen. It is one of the Nexus lineups of products by Google. It comes with a True HD IPS Plus screen , 768 x 1280-pixel display, 1.5 GHz Krait quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, 2 GB RAM, 8-megapixel camera and runs with 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Days after dropping the price of the LG Nexus 4, stocks of Google’s Nexus 4 seemed washed away or stolen. The racks were left clear.
As reported by Thedroidguy, Google claimed that they have ran out of stocks. Google also advised customers to just check again some other time but there is no assurance that there will be more stocks released.
Rumors linger that Google intentionally disposed the 8 GB and 16 GB models of Nexus 4 to pave way for the upcoming Nexus 5 or maybe, they wanted to focus more on making Motorola’s Moto X after it has achieved a greater success.
Another rumor circulating the internet is that the LG Nexus 5 will be equipped with almost the same specs and design of the LG G2 device.
In the meantime, limited stocks of LG Nexus 4’s 16 GB version are still available in the market for $249.
