Israeli Soldiers Disciplined by Government Officials for Dancing at Wedding Party in Palestinian Club (WATCH)

A group of Israeli soldiers are in hot water for dancing at a wedding party in a Palestinian club.

The soldiers were reportedly in the West Bank city of Hebron-an area that has been crippled by Palestinian and Israeli division for decades-when they heard South Korean rapper Psy's hit "Gangnam Style," blasting from speakers inside a club.

They entered the dancehall, and were greeted warmly by the crowd partying there.

As they danced, joining hands and laughing with one another, clubgoers hoisted them up on their shoulders, as shown in a video uploaded on YouTube and later broadcasted on CNN affiliate Channel 2.

As the bass-heavy party anthem boomed through the speakers, one soldier was seen on a Palestinian man's shoulders pumping his fist-and his firearm-to the beat, still donning his helmet and bullet-proof vest.

Both the Israeli soldiers and the Palestinian partiers didn't fight, or even engage in a verbal exchange.

But officials at the Israel Defense Forces had a few things to say-they stated that this event was a "serious incident."

"The soldiers exposed themselves to unnecessary danger and were disciplined accordingly," the IDF said.

They also reported that members of a pro-Hamas clan were often seen at the club, citing this as yet another reason to restrain the Israeli soldiers.

The soldiers were a part of the Givati Brigade, a group of elite forces who target terrorists.
