Jill Duggar, her husband Derick Dillard and their three-month-old son Israel have arrived in Central America! The couple announced on their blog last month that they were leaving the United States to go on a mission trip to Central America.

"We are so excited to announce that we have safely arrived on the mission field and we can now tell you that we are in Central America!" Jill and Derick wrote on their family blog on Saturday.

"Israel seems to be adjusting to the new climate, culture, food (via mom's milk), and language faster than Jill and I are," Derick said. "In fact, he has been the talk of the town. Everywhere we go, people here about and want to see and hold the 'big blue-eyed, white baby' LOL. Israel is definitely growing and developing fast."

Jill and Derick's mission trip intended to help more people accept the Christian religion. They say they've already witnessed people decide to be devoted followers, The International Business Times reported. "It is encouraging to already see some of the ways God is changing the hearts of the people here," they wrote. "Just 7 days ago, I had the joy of witnessing one elderly woman give lordship of her life to Christ."

The Dillard's update comes two days after TLC announced they had officially canceled their families show, "19 Kids and Counting." The series was taken off the air after it was revealed that the eldest Duggar child, Josh Duggar, had been investigated for molesting six underaged girls when he was a teenager, four including his sisters.
