Kate Hudson joins "Man vs. Wild" alum, Bear Grylls for 48 hours in the Italian Dolomities, a mountain range located on the northeastern side of Italy for his show, "Running Wild with Bear Grylls." The 36-year-old actress and 41-year-old outdoorsman team up for the season 2 premiere of the NBC survival show in which Grylls takes celebrities on one-on-one adventures in the wilderness.

The actress eats ants and pigeons and hikes 8,000 feet up a snowy mountain range and repels down 250 feet of steep rock on the show, according to the New York Post. "This is a perfect opportunity to get back to nature in a way that I haven't done in many years," Hudson says, though she admits, "Never in a million years did I think that I would do something like this."

In an interview with NBC, Hudson expresses the thing she is most nervous about is tight spaces. "The only thing that I am nervous about - and I know Bear likes to push people - I see him do a lot of cave stuff - I see him do things where he goes into small spaces and things and that is something - I am not a big fan of small spaces. My fear is that I won't be able to - that maybe I'll have an anxiety attack or something."

Hudson is only one of many celebrities that appear on the second season of the adventure reality show. Other big names include Kate Winslet, Drew Brees, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ed Helms, Michelle Rodriguez, James Marsden and Michael B. Jordan, according to the Daily Mail.
