Mass Graves Discovered in Mexico, Seven Bodies Found Could Explain Mysterious Disappearance of 12 Youths

Federal investigators in Mexico have unearthed a hidden mass grave that might explain what happened to 12 young people who disappeared from a bar near Mexico City in May.

On a ranch located east of Mexico's capital, police told CNN they found at least seven bodies and arrested two in possible connection with the murders.

But a legal representative for the families of five of the missing group told CNNMexico that somebody called him to tell him that the bodies would be found at that location.

Lawyer Ricardo Martinez said that the source, who he did not name, told him that 13 bodies were buried at the ranch and that two mass graves were created to house females and males separately.

Investigators have not yet released identities for the bodies, but said they are conducting DNA tests to name the remains.

The attorney general for Mexico City said that one of the graves, located in the town of Tlalmanalco, is currently being checked out.

The mysterious disappearance of the group of twelve youths from a nightclub in Mexico City called Heavens shocked the community back in May.

According to video footage, a group of about 17 people rolled up in cars to the hip and happening Zona Rosa district to party.

Heavens' owner and co-owner, along with two bartenders, have been taken in by police for further questioning on the case.

Some officials have claimed that gang members were involved in the group's vanishing.
