‘Man of Steel’ 2 Batman Casting Rumors: Caped Crusader to be Revealed in Less Than 30 Days? Will It be Josh Brolin or Orlando Bloom

Ever since a sequel to "Man of Steel" was announced at the San Diego Comic-Con fans have been eagerly waiting to find out who will play Batman. According to new reports the big reveal could be happening pretty soon, Enstarz.com reports.

A couple days ago, El Mayimbye founder of Latino Review, tweeted to his followers that he had a big scoop about when the actor cast as Batman would be revealed. According to the inside scoop, producers are planning on announcing the Cape Crusader within the month.

There has been several rumors surrounding who will be next to wear the cowl. London Express reported that "Lord of The Rings" actor Orlando Bloom was the favorite to play Batman. According to the British newspaper, a source from Warner Bros. revealed executives had been eyeing the 36-year-old actor to star alongside Henry Cavill in the second installment of the superhero movie.

"Orlando looks odd-on to get the part even before our first casting call," the source said. "He would be perfect to play off Henry Cavill and I think U.S. audiences would be happy with the two Brits as the joint male leads."

According to the newspaper, Warner Bros. expected the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor to sign on to do the movie before the fall and before a casting call goes out for other Justice League superheroes like Wonder Woman, Flash, Green lantern, Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter.

Ryan Gosling, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Armie Hammer have also been rumored to play Batman. According to Digital Spy, Hammer has taken himself out the running because he is not a fan of superhero films.

Latino Review reports that Josh Brolin currently is the favorite to play Batman.
