The “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” production may be preparing to shoot a major death scene on their Chicago set.

Instagram user Dan Marcus shared images of the movie theater on the “Batman vs. Superman” set, which may be the scene of the infamous day in Bruce Wayne’s history. The marquee above the theater reads “Mark of Zorro,” the film Martha and Thomas Wayne took Bruce to see the night of their murder.

Batman-News reports the Martha and Thomas scene is expected to shoot Thursday night and last well into Friday morning. Check out the slideshow above to see the Instagram images.

Unfortunately, Ben Affleck wasn’t spotted near the theater set. The Batman actor spoke to the Boston Globe back in September about the hype surrounding the film. Affleck is amped to finish the production and show fans what director Zack Snyder and scriptwriter Chris Terrio have created.

“I can tell you that I’m very excited and it’s very exciting,” Affleck, who plays Bruce Wayne in the film, told the Globe. “I can tell you that in my entire career, I haven’t had so many people come up to me and say how much they’re looking forward to the movie.

“Naturally, that’s a lot of pressure, but I love the script, I love the director, I love the studio. I’m very much looking forward to it, but it’s two years away so it probably doesn’t bear talking about anymore.”

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” starring Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Lawrence Fishburne and Ray Fisher is slated to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
