"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" star Gal Gadot is receiving criticism on social media and it has nothing to do with her new Wonder Woman costume reveal.

Gadot has declared her stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict by sharing a photo of herself praying for her home country on Facebook with the following caption:

"I am sending my love and prayers to my fellow Israeli citizens. Especially to all the boys and girls who are risking their lives protecting my country against the horrific acts conducted by Hamas, who are hiding like cowards behind women and children...We shall overcome!!! Shabbat Shalom! #weareright #freegazafromhamas #stopterror #coexistance #loveidf"

CNN reports more than 1,000 people have been killed in the Israel-Hamas conflict, which cause the U.N. Security Council to hold an emergency meeting on Monday. Israel has agreed to a cease-fire in wake of the horrific events.

"We are now maintaining an unlimited humanitarian cease-fire," Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor told CNN on Monday. "Our troops will only fire if they come under direct attack."

Hamas militants are reportedly using "civilian facilities" such as schools and mosques to launch attacks on Israeli citizens, according to CNN. Israel reportedly blames Hamas for the civilian deaths, which include more than 200 youths and 100 women.

However, supporters siding with Palestine claim the Israeli are the terrorists whom are protecting stolen lands and killing innocent civillians.  Supporters from both sides took to social media to express their thoughts about Gadot's comments.
