The Internet is still buzzing with casting rumors of who will play the sexy coveted roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.

"Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence is still a top contender for the role of Anastasia, but nothing has been officially announced although several websites are reporting that sources close to the "50 Shades of Grey" production team have J-Law as their "top pick for Anastasia Steele."

Meanwhile, a slew of different actors are being tossed around for the part of Grey. One name that can be crossed off the list is "Arrow" heartthrob Stephen Amell.

Weeks ago, Amell appeared to be interested in playing Grey in E.L. James' erotic film adaption of "Fifty Shades of Grey." He teased fans by releasing a video on his Facebook page talking about having a meeting with execs, but admitted the film is still a long way off from being produced.

However, Amell had never read the novels... until recently. After reading the book on a flight he now says there is no way he'll play Grey but wishes the crew great success.

He posted his heart-breaking comment on his Facebook page on Monday.

Amell was a Christian Grey fan-favorite ever since casting rumors began a year ago. Hundreds of fan-made trailers popped up starring the actor as Grey.

Perez Hilton reported that Universal Pictures chairman Adam Fogelson revealed the timeline for bringing "Fifty Shades of Grey" to theaters and the first movie will be released as early as the summer of 2014.

"I certainly understand why some people might take that point of view. But I don't believe that [author E.L. James] had any interest in going to a studio where rushing it into production was the vision. I don't believe that the second or third film would have benefited from that strategy. And I think that there are totally legitimate questions about what this book is as a movie. I will tell you that it is an absolute priority for us. It's conceivable that we could be ready to release it as early as next summer."
