George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are about to celebrate their second wedding anniversary and to add to the celebrations, news has come to the fore that they are also expecting a baby.

According to reports, the 55-year-old actor and his 38-year-old barrister wife have agreed to have a child. Rumors also suggest that she is already pregnant and they are completely geared to welcome a baby in their household. According to insiders, Clooney is very excited and bursting with pride. He is looking forward to becoming a father and cannot contain his joy. After being with so many girlfriends, no one could convince him to have a baby but Amal did.

However, the journey to this parenthood has not been easy and it is being said that she forced Clooney into fatherhood. Their marriage was not working and this was an attempt to repair it. Well, to start with, their marriage got off to a rocky start and the duo faced a good deal of problems. They also considered getting divorced from each other, but looks like their commitment to each other proved stronger and they decided to make things work. Despite living and working away from each other, they resolved to sort out their differences and give their marriage a chance.

As for the differences, they erupted because of Cindy Crawford, the famous supermodel. Alamuddin is reportedly jealous of Crawford and feels insecure when she is around. Recently, Amal and George met Cindy and her husband Rande Gerber (he is also George's close friend and business partner) for a get-together and things got pretty awkward. It turned out to be a miserable event as Amal could not hide her jealousy towards Cindy.

Well, fans just hope that all is well between their handsome hero and his human rights lawyer wife. The pregnancy news is definitely a positive development in their life and though they have not confirmed it, it is not difficult to gauge that it would bring them closer and strengthen their relationship. The two are not getting any younger and this is perfectly the right time to have a baby.
