Katt Williams Arrested Again For Throwing Salt Shaker At Restaurant Manager’s Face

Comedian Katt Williams is once again in trouble with the law. Williams was arrested Wednesday night on a battery charge after he allegedly threw a salt shaker at the manager of a seafood restaurant called Spondivits in Atlanta.

It all apparently started when Williams' friends and family members arrived at the restaurant and decided to seat themselves without waiting for the host. When Williams arrived, the situation quickly escalated, and that was when the comedian threw the salt shaker at the managers, hitting him in the face. The manager had a bloody lip.

Williams fled the scene before the police arrived, but he was later arrested for the incident at a nearby Waffle House. The comedian was thrown in jail and was released around 12:30 a.m. after he posted his bail.

"Mr. Williams was taken into custody at our agency last night as a result of a fight at a restaurant," said Cliff Chandler, Atlanta East Point Police Department's public information officer.

"The arrest took place at around 11:15 p.m. ... apparently some members of his family had taken some seats at [Spondivits] restaurant that had belonged to another family. An argument began, and Williams arrived and the situation escalated, there was arguing with the manager and Williams subsequently - we're alleging - struck the manager in the face with a salt shaker," Chandler continued.

Over the past couple of years, the troubled comedian has had several run-ins with law enforcement; he was most recently arrested in February for battery yet again after he punched a Georgia pool store employee. One day later, he was arrested for another crime along with several members of his entourage for allegedly robbing five women at gun point.

A month later, the 42-year-old comedian got into another physical altercation, but this time with a boy, who was reportedly only 17 years old. The entire incident was caught on video, which showed Williams talking with the boy before he hit him in the face. The young man then took down the comedian and pinned him to the ground while holding Williams in a choke-hold. Onlookers were eventually able to pull the boy off of the comedian. Williams was charged with disorderly conduct for the incident.
