There may be yet another victim to add to Vancouver's youth movement trend. Brandon Prust might not be staying with the Canucks. This follows shortly after news that Alex Burrows' stay in Vancouver was up in the air, and Chris Higgins was moved down to play in the AHL, along with recent rumors about Dan Hamhuis being in danger because of his age.

Prust sat out a third straight game on Tuesday night, as a healthy scratch. He has not been producing as a winger. The 31-year-old had suffered an ankle injury and missed 11 games in October and November, and feels he may have returned too early.

"The ankle has kind of nagged me a bit," Prust said, attributing his poor play to his injury. "It was tough to find some confidence.

I am not going to comment on that," Prust said, showing his will to stay in the city. "I don't know what is going to happen. I don't want to go there. I am here, I am a Vancouver Canuck and I am going to come in and work hard every day and hopefully get some more opportunities," according to the Vancouver Sun.

Prust's agent, Claude Lemieux, has stated that Prust has not requested a trade.

"Brandon wants to play. He understands the situation ... But if this goes on, he is probably going to get moved," he continued, according to the Sun.

Prust only has seven points with one goal in 35 games with the team this season, according to the NHL's website.
