She's been everything from a blonde and jet black-haired rocker chick to a candy-colored redhead, but Demi Lovato recently debuted her most shocking hair color to date on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," on which she performed her latest single, "Neon Lights."

While performing "Neon Lights" for the first time on television, Lovato kept her signature rocker style all-black to contrast her newly dyed, bright blue locks, perhaps done up to help promote the song and her newly announced tour.

Early next year, Lovato will be embarking on a special "girl power" North American "Neon Lights Tour" featuring Little Mix, Cher Lloyd and girl band Fifth Harmony, who Lovato helped create on the second season of the U.S. "The X-Factor."

Now a judge and mentor of the Girls category on season 3, the singer currently has a ton of projects on her plate, what with her upcoming appearances on "Glee" as Sanatana (Naya Rivera)'s love interest, inspirational book of quotes coming out in November, and coming live shows for "X-Factor," where the star will compete against Simon Cowell, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio.

Lovato discussed all of this in her latest cover issue interview for Teen Vogue, in which she gave an editor a tour of her glamorous and girly Los Angeles apartment, which features a giant horse statue that she fittingly calls "Henry the Horse."

"I saw a smaller horse in a store window somewhere," Demi recalled to the magazine of her wacky purchase, "and I was like, 'That's so chic. I need that horse statue.'" Luckily, her interior decorator was able to find her one, much to her delight. The apartment, which can be glimpsed in a number of Lovato's Instagram and Twitter photos, is a mash-up of Old Hollywood glamour and kitsch, with an elevator that opens directly into the spacious apartment.

"My only thinking was, Is it too fancy?" Demi said. "Then I realized, Who the hell are you talking to? I'm from Texas-there's no such thing as too over-the-top!"

Originally, Lovato had her sights set on buying a house, but ultimately that a high-rise would be a better fit for her busy schedule.

"I'm transitioning into being an adult," she said. "I don't want to take care of a whole house."

Lovato recently posted a Twitter photo showing off her latest blue locks, as well as a new Keek video where you can see them in action. Though she's previously dyed part of her hair blue, she's never gone "all the way" before.
