Bobby Brown: Kristina Remembered As Brown Gives First Interview Since Bobbi Kristina's Death, Believes He Could Have Prevented It (VIDEO)

Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away in July after a long, hard battle, and now her father, Bobby Brown, has given his first interview since her death, revealing that things would have been different for his daughter if he had been around.

Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her bathtub in January, but Bobby doesn't think this would have happened if he had been there in the days leading up to this tragic moment. While speaking publicly for the first time, on the syndicated talk show "The Real," Bobby became extremely emotional, according to Page Six.

"If I could have been there two days before, it wouldn't have went down like that," said Brown as he sat next to his wife, Alicia Etheredge, wearing a necklace with a photo of himself and his daughter.

In the short sneak peek clip, the 46-year-old singer explained how it felt during those gruesome days that his daughter was in a coma. "We prayed and hoped for six months for something better to happen," he said. "But when God calls you, he calls you."

Bobbi Kristina was buried next to her mother, Whitney Houston, who passed away in 2012 after also being found facedown in a bathtub. While lawsuits claim Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon and a "toxic cocktail" had something to do with her death, Houston's death was ruled an accidental drowning as a result of prescription drugs, heart disease and cocaine.

"I'm pretty sure her mother was... had a part with like, 'Come on, let's get her up here," said Bobby of Bobbi Kristina passing after all that time. "[Houston] was not comfortable by herself, I guess. She just called my daughter with her."

Prior to this interview, the only time we heard anything from Bobby was when he made some comments hours after his daughter's death in a short statement. "Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb," he said at the time, according to People. "My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss in unimaginable."

The full interview will air on the season two premiere of "The Real" Monday. Find out when it will air by you by clicking HERE. Additionally, BET will air the episode Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 1 a.m.
