Free agent point guard Goran Dragic has agreed to a five-year deal worth $90 million with the Miami heat, Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Dragic's deal will likely include a player option after the fourth season.
The Heat traded for Dragic in a deal with the Phoenix Suns at the trade deadline back in February. Despite losing Chris Bosh to injury shortly after, Dragic played well, averaging 16.6 points with 5.3 assists, 3.4 rebounds and shooting .502 percent from the field in 26 games for the Heat.
Pat Riley will now turn his full attention to resigning free-agent shooting guard Dwyane Wade. Wade has spent his entire 12-year career with Miami but recently opted out of his deal to test the free agent market. He is reportedly pursuing a max contract with the heat, according to Yahoo Sports.
Miami could have a nice collection of starters if Wade re-signs and Bosh returns healthy. Those two paired with Dragic and young big man Hassan Whiteside could potentially make some noise in a weak Eastern Conference.
The Dragic signing will become official on July 9 when the NBA's free agent moratorium is lifted.
