It won't air until next year, but fans of the hit HBO show "Game of Thrones" will eagerly await the fourth season until then, lapping up any spoilers and hints of things to come that they can. Actor Kit Harrington, who plays Jon Snow, recently revealed to Access Hollywood that this season will have more action, blood and gore than ever before!

"There's a hell of a lot of fight scenes," the star said at the Young Hollywood Awards last week in Los Angeles. "There's a lot of blood, there's a lot of gore. It's more action packed then any season we've done so far, so it's gonna be a test to see if we can get it done."

Harrington also hinted at bigs things to come for his character, who was last seen at the end of season 3 arriving at Castle Black and reuniting with his fellow Crows while bleedly profusely after being shot up with arrows by his love interest Ygritte (Rose Leslie). Will we see Ygritte get her revenge on Jon? Leslie has hinted at it, and as yet only "A Song Of Ice and Fire" book readers knowe the answer!

"I'm always - in a very pessimistic way - waiting for them to drop the ball and then we got [the scripts for] Season 4 through after what I thought was a very impressive Season 3... and it's brilliant. It's my favorite so far," Harrington told Access. "I've got a lot to do this season."

Though actors have been rumored to have begun filming in Iceland already, Harrington won't be among them this year.

"I'm not in Iceland this year. A lot of my friends went over to Iceland, a lot of people went over to Iceland that haven't been before and I didn't get to go this year, which is sad because I love the place," he said. "I'm purely in Northern Ireland this year."

Though he may not meet Daenerys Targaryen's dragons next season, Harrington will get to play his first role in an animated film in "How to Train Your Dragon 2," due in theaters June 2014.
