Dressed in a high-fashion Gucci ensemble, actress Olivia Wilde stuns on the cover of Canada's Fashion Magazine. In the September issue of the mag, the 29-year-old starlet spills about her risky new film role and her relationship with "SNL's" Jason Sudeikis.

Wilde is set to star opposite Chris Hemsworth in the new film "Rush," based on the true story of Austrian racecar driver Niki Lauda and his race with British competitor James Hunt.

"I play Suzy Miller-who was James Hunt's first wife," she said. "Suzy ended up leaving [James] for Richard Burton-who left Elizabeth Taylor for Suzy. My job in the film was to tell the story of James's tumultuous marriage, which was very 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?' Messy... I got to wear archive Gucci head to toe through the movie!"

The role is a new one for the actress, who has previously starred in action flick's like 2010's "Tron" and the Justin Timberlake thriller "In Time."

Wilde shared that her relationship with fiancé Jason Sudeikis has helped her make different choices in her film career.

"His skill level is so high. I really have learned a lot from him, especially when it comes to being bold and taking risks as an actor within a role," she said. "Comedians are so great about trying things, like doing seven takes in seven different ways and really not being afraid to stumble."

Sudeikis and Wilde first began dating in 2011 after he split with wife Kay Cannon and she ended an eight-year marriage to Italian prince Tao Ruspuli. Sudeikis has been equally gush-y about his wife-to-be, telling Elle Magazine that she's "hilarious, kind and sweet."

Despite the fact that the pair and happy now, Wilde admits that it took time to get there.

"It's really hard to jump into a relationship after you feel you've been through a difficult time...I liken it to a burn victim jumping back into a Jacuzzi. It took a lot of coaxing."

"Rush" hits theaters this September.
