********SPOILER ALERT********

Normally we would never consider asking you to click away from HNGN to go elsewhere but we really must insist, if you haven't watched this past Sunday's episode of "True Blood" you're not going to want to keep reading. Not only are there scary stories about Vampires and Werewolves but there are even more frightening spoilers ahead. You have been warned.

Much of this week's episode of "True Blood" revolved around how the citizens of Bon Temps end up dealing with death; dealing with the heartbreak of Terry's death, filling the power void after the governor's death or doing everything feasible to prevent Nora's death.

Sookie and Warlow's post-coital bliss was quickly interrupted by Arlene crying in the cemetery at Terry's grave. Not to poke holes in the plot or anything, but does time slow down considerably in super-happy faery land? It takes at least a couple of days to go from being shot dead in a parking lot (at which point Sookie and Warlow were already hanging out in super-happy faery land) to being buried. Are we to believe that Sookie and Warlow were going at it for four or five days straight?

Sorry for the tangent. Sookie goes to comfort Arlene without having any idea what exactly happened to Terry. At the Bellefleur house all sorts of craziness goes down. Arlene gets extremely drunk after telling her kids what happened to Terry so when Sookie and Lafayette return with the life insurance policy from Terry's safe deposit box they hold off on telling her about it. Sookie and Andy's faery daughter Adilyn meet for the same time in their heads. Adilyn seems pretty amazed that someone else could be in her head so don't be surprised if these two build up some sort of relationship with Sookie trying to show her the ropes.

Then Bill showed up. Everyone is in shock because it's daylight and Bill being a vampire and all. Bill then shows a bit of humanity for the first time in a long, long time. The character has gone so far from where he began. In the early seasons of the show it wouldn't have been remotely shocking to see him offering his condolences to Arlene and Andy. Now, especially since he was responsible for the death of three of the faery daughters, it seemed completely unthinkable that he would have even been in the house. It was really nice to see him acting civil and with compassion but it was impossible to not think that there must be some sort of scheme at work in Bill's mind, which really shows that he has fully turned into a villain.

When Sarah Newlin arrived back at the governor's mansion amazingly no one else had been there to discover the governor's head sitting quite far away from the rest of his body. In order to continue her extermination of the vampires Sarah is able to convince the senator to pretend that the governor is still alive. Shockingly this plan works, which is bad news for everyone in the vampire camp, including Jason. While Sarah may hate vampires pretty fiercely she seems to hate Jason even more as she cuts him up and feeds him to the female gen pop. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out with Tara trying to defend him against a boatload of hungry vampires.

It's always a little weird on this show when Eric shows any sort of emotion of compassion. The desperation he has while trying to save Nora reveals just how deeply he cared about her and it's hard not to appreciate that and be a little touched. At the same time though, it's just really awkward to watch. Sort of like being in the same room as a couple fights or watching your grizzled old grandpa cry.

Despite the awkwardness and sadness of Nora dying from Hep V viewers couldn't help but be pretty excited about the episodes to come with Bill and Eric fighting on the same team once again. With three episodes left a lot of stuff still has to go down and with Eric hell-bent on revenge and Bill's insane powers it ought to be great to watch.

For the first time all season the story line with the werewolves was a bit interesting. After a heart to heart with his dad Alcide headed back to the pack and got caught in a lie. They look like they are headed for a showdown as the pack circled around Alcide. Sam is probably going to get into a little bit of trouble when he returns to Bon Temps as well.

Next week there should be some serious excitement as we find out if Jason is able to survive, what happens with the werewolves, and what exactly Eric and Bill have planned.
