The royal baby will spend a night in the hospital before being taken to Kensington Palace for a few days. After that, the new prince or princess will be whisked away to the country to settle into Amner Hall, the family's new home in Norfolk. The duke and duchess plan to spend a month away from the public, bonding with their new addition, according to the Telegraph.

At Kensington Palace, Queen Elizabeth II will meet her new great-grandchild and the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will have their time as well. The Middletons - Michael and Carole, the duchess' parents and her siblings, Pippa and James - will also be present. According to The Telegraph, the family will spend "a couple of days" there. Kensington Palace has a nursery all ready for the newest royal complete with Prince George's old Moses basket, a Middleton family tradition. A second nursery is also ready at Amner Hall.

The duchess' family will be guests at Amner Hall for the next month. The four royals, the Middletons and doggie Lupo will spend time getting Prince George used to the idea that he has to share the spotlight a bit with his new sibling.

"It's a very important time for the family to be together and spend some private time together, and it's probably easier to do that in the country than it is in central London," a royal source told The Telegraph.
