Kate Middleton is nearing her due date as the world - and perhaps, the duchess herself - are counting down the minutes waiting for the royal baby.

With 90 percent of all bets on the fourth heir to the throne's gender being female, Middleton's uncle, Gary Goldsmith, told Hello! that the public shouldn't be too disappointed if the princess is actually a prince.

"I don't think they'll stop at two, so if it isn't a girl this time round, people shouldn't be too disappointed," Goldsmith told the magazine. "I'm sure there'll be a girl in the mix at some point."

"Kate was a beautiful girl and if she were to have a girl, she'll be equally as beautiful," he added, according to Hello!

If Middleton does have a girl, Prince Harry will most likely have a chuckle. Harry previously joked that his older brother would "suffer" with a daughter, according to Hello!

Grandpa Charles reportedly said, "I hope it will be a girl this time." Will he be disappointed?

Goldsmith assumedly echoed the sentiment of the royal family when he told Hello!, "As long as the baby is healthy, that is the important thing."
