Bruce Jenner has not publicly commented on his rumored gender change, but new reports claim that the former Olympian has been living as a woman for the past year. Sources told Radar Online that the 65-year-old lives life as a female while in Malibu, Calif., and plans to get gender reassignment surgery soon.

He also plans on changing his name, the source added. Supposedly, this is all expected to happen within the next couple of months.

"The decision wasn't made overnight, but has been done thoughtfully over the past year," the source said. "After having his Adam's apple removed, and beginning to take hormones, Bruce knew what he wanted to do."

"He has been in counseling as required by the surgeon, and his doctor believes Bruce is psychologically prepared to become a woman," the source added.

Jenner is rumored to address his changing appearance on Season 10 of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and also landed his own docu-series to film his transformation. According to Radar, after Jenner undergoes surgery to physically remove his male parts, he wants people to start addressing him with a different name.

"He'll change his entire identity, and will be recognized as a woman," the source said.

Jenner's family has been supporting the athlete through his transition. Kim Kardashian recently spoke to "Entertainment Tonight" and said that her stepfather was on a "journey" and he would talk about it when he was ready.

According to Radar, Brandon and Brody have also been onboard with their dad's decision.

"Recognizing Bruce was very unhappy in his own skin made them extremely sad and concerned," the source said. "There have been some very deep conversations between the boys and Bruce. All they want to do is be there for him, and respect the process."
