South Africa heads into Friday's series-opener after defeating the West Indies in their previous Test series, 2-0-1.  Although the West Indies were unable to come away with a win in the Test series, skipper Darren Sammy it'll be a different story when they begin their T20 series.

"We are a very confident group in T20s, having won the World Cup three years ago in this format. I believe we have some of the best players in the world in this format, and I definitely believe we have an advantage, having played recently in these conditions," said Sammy, via Citizen.co.za.  "I think it is an advantage for the South Africans too, as I heard David Wiese (Sammy's Titans teammate) saying that he learnt a lot during the domestic T20 series, so it is a plus for South Africa too. They would have gained a lot of information and knowledge too."

The match will take place in Newlands, Cape Town in South Africa.  Weather.com forecasts a sunny but windy day with temperatures reaching as high as 82 degrees Fahrenheit; no rain is expected.
