Afghanistan can split the four-ODI series with UAE with a win on Thursday.  After dropping the first two ODIs, Afghanistan bounced back on Monday with a two-wicket win, thanks in part to Mirwais Ashraf, who earned the Man of the Match award after logging nine outs, one wicket and 52 runs.

Javed Ahmadi scored a team high 67 runs, and on the bowling front, Dawlat Zadran recorded 10 outs and two wickets, and Mohammad Nabi had 10 outs.

The ODI will take place at ICC Global Cricket Academy in Dubai.  Weather.com forecasts a partly cloudy day with temperatures reaching as high as 81 degrees Fahrenheit; no rain is expected.

For UAE, it wasn't as much a matter of not being able to generate offense as much as it was a failure to limit Afghanistan's offense.  Skipper Khurram Khan scored 85 runs, and Mohammad Shahzad added 62 runs.  On the bowling front, Fahad Alhashmi and Rohan Mustafa each recorded 10 outs and took two wickets apiece.
