England, meanwhile, is still in the series and needs a win to avoid falling into a 3-0 deficit.  Their batsmen struggled to produce against the Sri Lankan bowlers.  Ravi Bopara being the only player for England to surpass the half-century mark, scoring 51 runs.  Joe Root chipped in with 42 runs, but the rest of the team offered little support.  The team's bowlers didn't play much better, only managing to take two wickets in the contest while allowing Sri Lanka to score at a run rate of 5.44
