The first half of AMC's "The Walking Dead" is quickly winding down. There are only two more episodes left before the zombie apocalyptic show takes a break for the winter season. Entertainment Weekly recently caught up with Tyler James Williams, who plays Noah, to get the scoop on tonight's episode "Crossed."

In last week's episode, Noah escaped Grady Memorial Hospital and met up with Daryl (Norman Reedus) after Carol (Melissa McBride) was hit by a car. She was also taken to the creepy hospital, where Beth has been trapped since last season.

Williams told Entertainment Weekly that in Sunday's episode fans will see his character and Daryl on a mission to get Beth and Carol back.

"We're going back to get the squad," he said. "Daryl has that last line, 'We have people, too.' So [we need to] go back not just to get Beth, but to get Carol. So we're going to rally the troops and make an attempt. That's as far as I can tell you."

Of course, Williams can't give away too many details (that would ruin the episode, right?), but he did dish on his character in a different interview with EW.

"I think Noah is to his core a survivor. He's at the hospital now because it's his best move, but he plans to get out. He's one that at the end of the day, he will do what's necessary, even it if means sacrificing himself and his body, for the people he cares about - like creating a unique bond with Beth, to the point that he will take a beating for her."

When fans were introduced to Noah, he made it clear that he wanted to leave Grady Memorial. Williams explained to EW that the character has one simple goal this season: find "his people."

"Noah wants to get home. He originally left to find his uncle, but that's not happening. And he's lost his dad. He needs to get back home and update his family," he said. "I think he just wants to just survive this thing with people that he knows: his people. So, ultimately, he needs to get back home, and it's about finding the right time to do so."

"The Walking Dead" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
