It's been rumored for months now that NBC's "Parenthood" would end its sixth and final season with a major death. While it's still not confirmed, it's been hinted that it's going to be an emotional ending to the series.

According to a new report by E! News, a lot of the cast members are upset over which character is said to die.

"There are some cast members that are NOT happy about the death that's coming. Meaning they don't think it's a good idea for the show," E! wrote.

There's been a lot of buzz that Zeek (Craig T. Nelson) or Kristina (Monica Potter) could be axed before the series comes to an end. At the beginning of Season 6, Zeek collapsed and underwent heart surgery and Kristina battled breast cancer.

"Instead of being so segregated with each storyline, there's one storyline that pulls us all in," Potter told TV Line. "That's the crux of the rest of the season. It's going to be really sad, but it's going to be really good."

Nelson recently spoke to E! News and admitted that the death rumors surrounding his character can be a bit stressful.

"We've had a lot of dialogue about this behind the scenes and there's been come contentiousness," he said. "We don't exactly know what it is but the lead up to whatever it is has been so emotional. It's not really good for you. Health-wise, at our age. At mine, I should say. I don't know. I'm not the best to talk about it. I don't like it. I don't like it."

Showrunner Jason Katims teased that the 100th episode special (in Season 6 it's the 10 episode) is going to be a tear-jerker.

"It's going to be a particularly emotional episode... [that] deals with Zeek's health," he told TV Guide. "It's an unusual episode in that it's a more compressed time frame than most of our episodes. It probably happens over 24 hours. It really is the beginning of the final movement of the series... It's hopefully what will be a juggernaut toward the ending of the show."
