Is Kate Middleton pregnant with a little princess? The 32-year-old Duchess of Cambridge and her husband Prince William announced they were expecting their second child in September and now a new report claims that the parents are preparing for a baby girl.

According to Life & Style magazine (via Hollywood Life), Middleton and William have reportedly been telling friends that their next child is going to be a girl.

"They're both thrilled," a royal source told the gossip magazine, adding that Queen Elizabeth II "loves the idea of Kate and William having a boy and a girl."

The source went on to say that the Duchess doesn't want a traditional pink nursery but instead wants to decorate the baby's room in creams and beiges. Back in October, rumors surfaced that Middleton was pregnant with twin girls but Kensington Palace denied the claims in an official statement announcing that the baby (singular) was due in April, the same month as the couple's fourth wedding anniversary.

"Their Royal Highness, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015," the Palace said.

Just like with her first pregnancy (Prince George was born in July of 2013), Middleton experienced acute morning sickness, also called Hyperemesis Gravidarum and was forced to miss several royal engagements.

Her first public appearance since getting announcing her pregnancy was on Oct. 21 when she and Prince William greeted the President of Singapore, Tony Tan, and his wife Mary.
