The royal couple will have a really special anniversary this year. Kensington Palace announced in a statement that Kate Middleton and Prince William are expected to welcome their second child in April 2015.

That's the same month as the royal couple's fourth wedding anniversary. Middleton and Prince William married on April 29, 2011 and welcomed their first child, Prince George, two years later on July 22. Queen Elizabeth will also be celebrating her 89th birthday on April 21.

"Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015," Kensington Palace said in a statement, via People magazine. "The Duchess of Cambridge continues to be affected by Hyperemesis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving."

According to People, the Duchess is expected to resume her royal duties on Tuesday since her condition is getting better. The 32-year-old is expected to join her husband as they welcome Singapore's President Tony Tan Keng to London.

Later that evening, she's also said to attend the Natural History Museum for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards. The events on Tuesday will be the first time Middleton is out in public since announcing her pregnancy.

On Sept. 8, Kensington Palace announced via Twitter that there was a second royal baby on the way.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child," a statement read. "The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news that Their Royal Highnesses are expecting their second child."

It was previously rumored that the Duchess was pregnant with twins, while another report said that she was expecting a baby girl.
