Broadway star-turned-movie-actor Ray Fisher recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly to dish on playing Cyborg in Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." Fisher said that he was already told his character would have spots in the upcoming "Batman/Superman" flick as well as in the "Justice League" movie.

What Fisher didn't know was that Warner Bros. and DC had plans to give Cyborg a stand-alone film, slated for a 2020 release. The New Jersey native told EW that he was informed of the plan a few hours before the studio made a public announcement.

"I didn't know the extent to which DC and WB had planned on taking my character," he said. "When I signed on, I just wanted to be part of this world. But that specific information, I found out then and there. I didn't think I'd be getting my own stand-alone film."

Fisher said he's already done filming for "Dawn of Justice;" he wrapped production back in July. He also said that while filming he got to meet members of the Justice League and formed a friendship with Jesse Eisenberg, who will play Lex Luthor.

"I met everyone in the Justice League except Henry Cavill [Superman] and Ezra Miller [the Flash]," he told EW. "It was unreal. You get this idea of going to work on a Hollywood set as being really stressful and nerve-wracking. But it blew that stereotype away. If they did have stressful times, it wasn't while I was there."

As far as what fans can expect from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the 27-year-old actor said, "Let me tell you, man, people are in for a hell of a treat."

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released in March 2016.
