From boy wizard to Batman's sidekick? "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe sat down for an interview with Buzzfeed and was asked if he would ever appear in a franchise film again and the actor said he would.

He was then asked which film he would like a part in, and after a brief hesitation, the 24-year-old responded "Batman."

"If they reboot that again, I'll do that, too. It's happening isn't it? With Ben Affleck. I could be Robin. I'm perfect," Radcliffe told Buzzfeed.

It's not clear if Radcliffe was simply joking or not and his name isn't the first one that comes to mind when thinking of what Hollywood actors could star alongside Affleck as Robin. According to reports, it's been rumored that Affleck could get a solo Batman film in 2019, tentatively titled "The Batman." It's also been rumored that Robin could appear in Zack Snyder's upcoming "Man of Steel: Dawn of Justice."

Back in May, MoviePilot.com, and other sites, reported that Nightwing was going to betray Batman in the upcoming superhero flick.

"Sounds about right to me too, I once again, suggest you check the NEW 54 Nightwing. This may give us clues to where they are going in the movies," MoviePilot wrote about the rumor.

In December, Latino Review also reported on the rumor writing that Robin and Batman had some type of fallen out and were not friends anymore. Also around that time, the site tweeted a spoiler alert claiming that the Caped Crusader and his former pal would not be speaking to each other in the now-titled "Dawn of Justice."

"Can't wait for #BatmanvsSuperman... #batfleck semi-retired/not speaking to Robin anymore... Controlling drones from the batcave," El Mayimbe, from the Latino Review posted.

In related news, journalist Nikki Finke launched her own website and posted a rumored list of movies Warner Bros. and DC Comics plans on releasing in the next few years. According to Finke's list, a solo Batman film with Affleck was not being tossed around.
