Gal Gadot has been hitting the gym to get into the best shape of her life for her role of Wonder Woman in "Batman vs. Superman."

The actress recently spoke to E! News about her toned figure, revealing her secrets as to how she keeps in shape.

"I just keep active-everything that's challenging me, everything that I feel like doing," Gadot told E! News.  "It's not like I'm only TRX or Pilates. I do sports."

However, Gadot admitted she enjoys TRX the most because it's a "whole body" workout.  She does engage in cardio exercises, but gravitates more towards weight-training while at the gym.

As far as her eating habits are concerned, Gadot is a firm believer of having a balanced diet and indulging in your favorite foods every once in a while.

"I try to eat healthy," the actress told E! News. "But sometimes though, I eat cheeseburgers. That's good for the soul. I make sure to balance everything out. I drink tons of water."

While Gadot is working hard to physicially prepare for her role as Wonder Woman, many "Man of Steel 2" fans still are not convinced she is the right person for the part. The voice of Wonder Woman in the video game "DC Universe Online" Susan Eisenberg recently spoke with The Mary Sue about the pressures she faces because as the new female heroine.

"I'm not that familiar with Ms. Gadot's work, but I can say this: I'm thrilled that Wonder Woman will be in a movie," Eisenberg told The Mary Sue.  "I hope it's the beginning of a lot more screen time for the character and for her stories, and I hope that Ms. Gadot succeeds wildly in the role because if she does, we'll get to see more."

"There is a lot of pressure on her to do well, but the truth is the character of Wonder Woman will endure whether it's in this project or future ones," Eisenberg added.  "As magnificently as an actor can embody these characters/superheroes, ultimately they exist as their own creations, and will continue to be in comic books, cartoons, television, film, and whatever medium comes next!"

"Batman vs. Superman" will be released to theaters on May 6, 2016.
